I am Melissa Eddington. When Amanda came to me with this idea I couldn’t help but think how awesome this project could be…I jumped at the idea of learning about the Humans of Education. We started with listing questions we wanted to ask our chosen teachers. Out of our list, they chose three questions to ask their teachers. Each student chose one American teacher and one Japanese/Indian teacher. Below are our questions…

  1. What did you study in college?
  2. Why did you want to be a teacher?
  3. What is the hardest part of your job?
  4. What is the easiest part of your job?
  5. What was your dream as a child?
  6. What kind of child were you?
  7. Do you enjoy school now?
  8. Do you see yourself as an encourager or a corrector of children?
  9. What are you thinking during class?
